Wow, I missed my page so much! It’s been a while since I last posted something personal. But yay it’s finally summer (more like rainy) vacation and I can’t wait to catch up on (1) sleep, (2) Grey’s Anatomy, and (3) this blog!! Okay, how about a recap of school shenanigans?
Guess who’s done with her finals?? Yup, it’s me!!!!! I am so done with papers, homework, quizzes, exams, recitations, and presentations! Honestly speaking, I am so worried about my grades this semester; I might not make it to the dean’s list! Sad but I just gotta accept my fate and move on and do better next semester.
I have been called the heartless, stone cold, indifferent, emotion-less one, and the list even goes on and on. But then I do not care what they say, I do not care whether or not they see my emotions. I have no plans on showing them, anyway. It is not that I do not care altogether, though, I just do not like getting deeply involved with things. This is what, who, and how I am, and they cannot do anything about it.
After the Easter break, my class had been attending a series of seminars and talks to ‘celebrate’ English Week. We were kind of exhausted with all the sitting and the listening, but it was all worth it, since we became more knowledgeable about what can happen after college, a.k.a. in the real world. We may be free from class, but we were not free at all, because everything was required and attendance was checked.
Life in the city can sometimes be overwhelming. It is fast and demanding. It requires you to exert a lot of effort and forces you to take it up a notch every single day. A simple and ordinary day in the city does not seem so simple and ordinary at all. It is a challenge, heck, it is always and indeed a challenge, and you are always up for it. But then it tires you. Life in the city is not what you have always wanted, because you come to a point where everything just exhausts you. It drains your whole system; it sucks the energy out of your body.
It’s been a month (or so) since the last time I posted something on this page. Ever since the month of February came, I’ve been so stressed out because of school. Actually, at this very moment, I’ve got tons of stuff to accomplish and study for, but here I am, procrastinating. I couldn’t consider blogging as a form procrastination, though, because it still requires me to think and use my so-called skills. So how about a little catch-up, eh?
We’re down to the last week of the new year’s first month already! What just happened?? Okay so here’s my playlist that helped get through January:
